Shan, RJ and Bobby react to Dak Prescott's comments about Cowboys' future, telling fans to "move on" from Green Bay loss

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott ruffled some feathers when he boldly said fans of America's Team should "move on" from the disastrous performance they put forth against the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs last season.

“Be fans or don’t be fans. If you’re a fan, you’re going to turn the page just as we do, you’re gonna move forward, understanding that you have better ahead of you," Prescott said when asked about fans who were still frustrated by the team's blowout loss to the Packers in the Wild Card Round. "Sorry, obviously, but it hurt us more than it did them. Obviously it’s on us to get back and to do better, but, yeah, move on.”

Not all of the team's fans were upset by what Prescott said, as Shan Shariff noted Friday morning on 105.3 The Fan that fans who responded to his tweet about the quarterback's comments were split.

Prescott also spoke about his lingering contract situation, as he enters the season in the final year of his contract.

“I’m going to say it, I want to be here, but when you look up, all the great quarterbacks I watched played for other teams,” Prescott said. “So my point in saying that it’s not something to fear. It may be a reality for me one day. It may not be my decision. The freedom that I have is be where your feet are, make the most of it, be confident in yourself, make your team better. I love my teammates I love that locker room.”
