DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys have two of the most desirable head coaching candidates in the NFL, in defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, and offensive coordinator Kellen More.
On Monday, the Denver Broncos reportedly requested to interview both of them for their recent opening that was vacated by Vic Fangio.
The report comes shortly after Fangio was one of multiple head coaches across the league that was fired on "Black Monday."
Quinn is rumored to be an extremely strong candidate for the job.
Under Quinn, Dallas has seen a major resurgence in 2021, scoring six defensive touchdowns, forcing a league high 33 turnovers (25 interceptions), and sitting seventh in the league in points against at just 20.5 points per game.
Dallas also has 31 sacks on the season, including 13 from rookie Micah Parsons.
Under Moore's direction, the Cowboys offense has been one of the most explosive in the NFL for the majority of this season, culminating in a 56-14 blowout of the Washington Football Team on Sunday.
As it stands, the Cowboys currently rank No. 1 in the NFL in total offense, averaging 409.5 yards per game, as well as No. 1 in scoring offense, where they average more than 30 points per contests.
The Dallas offense also ranks No. 3 in passing yards and No. 6 in rushing yards through the first 15 games, despite injuries and set backs across their skill positions and offensive line.
The Jaguars also requested to interview both coordinators, with Moore interviewing before the Cowboys win over Philadelphia.
Quinn declined to interview in Jacksonville.
