DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys have reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with Bears defensive tackle Brent Urban, according to Urban's wife, Kate.

Urban started in eight of the 16 games he appeared in with Chicago last season.

According to Jeff Cavanaugh of 105.3 The Fan, via Pro Football Focus, Urban graded out as an 'outstanding run defender' in 2020. Cavanaugh adds that Urban didn't have much of an impact as a pass rusher as he had only 2.5 sacks.

The Ravens selected Urban in the fourth round of the 2014 draft out of Virginia. After five years in Baltimore, he spent the 2019 season between Tennessee and Chicago. He signed a one-year deal with the Bears for the 2020 season.

For his career, Urban has 104 combined tackles and six sacks.

The 29-year-old is a native of Mississauga, Ontario.
