DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Minutes after the Cowboys released defensive tackle Antwaun Woods on Wednesday morning, multiple reports came down that Dallas had also cut cornerback Saivion Smith.
Smith appeared in eight games for the Cowboys in 2020 and was mostly used on special teams. He had three combined tackles in the Cowboys' Week 14 win over Cincinnati.
His release leaves the Cowboys with Kelvin Joseph, Trevon Diggs, Jourdan Lewis, Nahshon Wright, Israel Mukuamu, Reggie Robinson III, Anthony Brown, Deante Burton, Maurice Canady and C.J. Goodwin at the cornerback position.
