The Cowboys team plane took flight to the site of the team's training camp in Oxnard, California, on Monday afternoon. And, according to Todd Archer of ESPN, there was at least one player known to have not been on board: All-Pro guard Zack Martin.

The fact that Martin wasn't present for the flight is not all that surprising considering ESPN's Adam Schefter reported recently that Martin is unhappy with his contract and is considering not reporting for training camp on time due to the Cowboys' "lack of interest in restructuring it."

Martin and his teammates are required to report to camp by Tuesday, which the offensive lineman could still do. As 105.3 The Fan's Bryan Broaddus noted on the GBag Nation Monday, some veterans use their own means of travel to get to Oxnard.

"There are a lot of guys who aren't on that plane. There are guys who are already out there. I remember traveling with the team when I was with DallasCowboys.com, guys like [Tony] Romo and others would just fly on their own. I guarantee there are probably 8-10 guys that didn't fly with the team that might have homes out there already," Broaddus said.

Martin will incur a $50,000 fine each day that he's not in camp.

On the latest edition of the Love of the Star podcast, Broaddus and Bobby Belt discussed why they believe the Cowboys and Martin will come to an agreement sooner than later.
