Saquon Barkley's disastrous luck with injuries continued in Week 5.

The former No. 2 overall pick had to be carted to the New York Giants locker room after rolling his left ankle in the first quarter of the team's tilt with the Dallas Cowboys:
While the Giants initially issued an update saying that Barkley was questionable to return with a left ankle injury, less than 10 minutes later they said that the 24-year-old will not return Sunday.
Barkley won the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award in 2018, but has struggled to stay healthy since. A high-ankle sprain to his right ankle cost Barkley three full games in 2019, and he suffered a season-ending torn ACL in his right knee in Week 2 of the 2020 season.
