DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys could be getting back a major weapon heading into their Monday Night Football showdown against the New York Giants at Met Life Stadium.
On Monday during his weekly visit with the K&C Masterpiece, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones revealed that wideout Michael Gallup, who has been out since the latter part of last season with a torn ACL, could possibly return this Monday against the Giants.
“Certainly Gallup has a chance to work back in," Jones told K&C Masterpiece. "Certainly possible for him to be up against the Giants this week."
Before his injury last year, Gallup was one of the Cowboys top offensive threats, catching 35 passes for 445 yards and two touchdowns in nine games.
Before his injury, Gallup was already on pace to improve on a 2020 season, in which he finished with 59 catches for 843 yards and five touchdowns.
The Cowboys and the Giants are set to kick off at 7:15 pm.
