ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys are facing a critical contest against the Los Angeles Rams at AT&T Stadium on Sunday. And per an announcement from the team, Dallas will be without one of its top offensive linemen in Tyron Smith.
Smith, who is dealing with a neck issue, is now missing his third game of the season after sitting out in Week 3 and Week 4 against Cardinals and Patriots.
In Week 5 in their loss to the 49ers, the veteran tackle played just 39 offensive snaps - 80 percent of the possible snaps for Dallas.
Smith has had a well documented history of injuries with the Cowboys, playing just four games in 2022, 11 games in 2021, and two games in 2020.
He has not played a full season for the Cowboys since 2015.
