DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys turnover at the safety position continued on Saturday afternoon, when now-former safety Xavier Woods signed a deal with the Minnesota Vikings, according to multiple reports.
The deal, which is one year in length, is also worth up to as much as $2.25 million, with $1.75 million guaranteed.
The former sixth-round pick has played in 60 of a possible 64 regular season games in his four seasons, starting 48 of the games after becoming a full time starter in 2018.
Woods finishes his time in Dallas with 247 total tackles, five interceptions and three forced fumbles.
The Cowboys will rely on to their newly acquired signings on the back end to fill replace Woods, with Demontrae Kazee the likely candidate to earn the job.
