WATCH: KaVontae Turpin injured, but returns to score a TD

The Dallas Cowboys suffered what looked to be significant loss on Sunday afternoon vs. the Philadelphia Eagles, with explosive special teams returning KaVontae Turpin being knocked out of the game with an injury.

Turpin, who suffered a rib injury near the end of the first quarter, was taken to the medical tent, where he reportedly stayed for seven minutes, and was outfitted with protective gear.

And not long after that, Turpin came back with a vengance, catching a short touchdown pass to give the Cowboys the lead over the Eagles in the second quarter.

The touchdown was Turpins second of the season through the air, after catching one against the 49ers earlier in the year.

The score capped off a nine-play 82-yard drive, and put the Cowboys up 14-7 over their division rival.
