What Jerry Jones actually said about Dak Prescott

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn't criticize Dak Prescott for his fourth quarter game-ending interception on Monday.

A tweet from a local beat writer made the rounds on social media Monday accusing Jones of saying Prescott not making a play on the Cowboys final drive is the difference between he and Patrick Mahomes, or Tony Romo.

What did Jones really say? Jones said Mahomes, Romo and Prescott all have the ability to extend plays. He just believes Mahomes is at the top of the list when it comes to making those kinds of plays.

"And obviously with their quarterback (Mahomes), who I think is at the highest level right now because of his, frankly, as much as just his natural ability to make plays, his mobility. And this guy's very quick and elusive and can get in and out of situations with his feet and buy time," Jones said when asked what the difference.
