The Dallas Cowboys are bringing in another running back.
Free agent running back Miles Sanders agreed to a one-year deal on Thursday with the Cowboys, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
The Panthers cut Sanders earlier this week, and coincidentally, he'll be replaced by former Cowboys back Rico Dowdle in Carolina.
Sanders rushed for just 637 yards and three touchdowns in two seasons with Carolina after they signed him away from the Eagles for four years and just over $25 million in 2023.
Sanders joins a running back room that includes newly signed Javonte Williams and Deuce Vaughn. And the signing won't preclude the Cowboys from using one of their top picks on a runner in next month's NFL Draft.
