Having already clinched a playoff spot thanks to a Falcons loss, the Dallas Cowboys are locked in a tight matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.
And if nothing else, Sunday has already proven to be a playoff-type atmosphere in Buffalo.
With things already getting chippy between the two teams, things got even more heated midway through the opening frame, when Buffalo safety Taylor Rapp hitting Cowboys star QB Dak Prescott while he was attempting to slide on a third down scramble.
Suffice it to say, Cowboys offensive guard Zack Martin was not a fan of Rapp's decision, taking exception to the hit, and paying the Buffalo safety back in kind with a late hit of his own.
Martin was flagged 15 yards for the late hit, offsetting the penalty on Rapp for the hit on Prescott.
The Cowboys were unable to capitalize on the drive, but Martin's decision to protect his quarterback has been well received by players and fans alike.
