DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Mavs superstar Luka Doncic is known for doing amazing things on the court, but one thing about the 22-year-old that is less publicized is his amazing work off of it.
On Tuesday, Doncic's latest charitable work took him to UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he donated multiple pairs of Air Jordan shoes to the various healthcare workers at the facility.
Doncic, who was unable to donate the Jordans in person due to the Mavs being in the midst of a three-game road trip, sent a video message to the staff of UT Southwestern, thanking them for their selfless work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I wish I could be there in person, but I just want to say I have one pair of Jordans for each one of you," Doncic said in a video message to the health care workers. "I'm really excited to do that. Thank you for everything that you did during this Pandemic, and go Mavs."
Dallas ends their road trip on Wednesday night in Minnesota against rookie Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves.
