DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks look to be entering their Friday night matchup against the Indiana Pacers a little shorthanded, as super star Luka Doncic appeared on Friday's injury report with back soreness and is listed as doubtful, while newly acquired JJ Redick is listed as out, due to right heel soreness.
The Mavs, who added Redick in the closing moments of Thursday's NBA Trade Deadline, are winners of three of their last four outings, as well as winning 10 of their last 11.
Unfortunately for Dallas, Doncic has been the main driver of that success, soaring through the last few weeks at an MVP-caliber level, averaging 29.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game, while shooting 41-percent from three in the month of March.
Redick, meanwhile, has been dealing the the heel issue since the beginning of March, and will continue to be evaluated.
The Mavs with also be without newly added Nicolo Melli, who joined Redick in the trade to Dallas and is not yet with the team, as well as Willie Cauley-Stein (health and safety protocols) and Tyrell Terry (personal reasons).
