The Mavericks became the first team in NBA history to take a 3-0 series lead despite trailing at any point in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter in each game since 1998, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Minnesota's prospects of making the NBA Finals are in dire straights given the fact that no NBA team has come back from a 3-0 deficit.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, the Wolves are already resigned to the fact that the series is over, as members of the organization acknowledged that the Mavericks are the better team and will move on.
