The early-season meeting that changed everything for the Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks reached a low point after losing to the Utah Jazz on Nov. 14. The team was in the visiting locker room after losing their fourth consecutive game by 3 points or less and decided then that it was time to come together for a powwow.

Mike Curtis of the Dallas Morning News reported recently that the Mavs "conducted a teamwide meeting, with players and coaches included, immediately after the game."

And it seems to have worked as Dallas has since won five of their last six games, including road wins over the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder without Luka Doncic.

The K&C Masterpiece weighed in on the meeting and how important it is that Dallas gets Doncic on the same page with his teammates when he returns from a wrist injury as early as this Saturday against Utah.
