DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Luka Doncic is one of the best players in the NBA, and not surprisingly, fans all around the world want to see him start in another All-Star Game.

According to the first fan voting totals released on Thursday, Doncic has the fourth-most votes in the Western Conference with 1,395,719 votes. Doncic trails only Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who has 2,113178 votes, in the backcourt.

LeBron James leads the Western Conference in voting with 2,288,676 votes. Denver's Nikola Jokic (1,477,975 votes) and the Clippers' Kawhi Leonard (1,285,777 votes) round out the current starting five.

Brooklyn's Kevin Durant leads all vote getters with 2.3 million votes.

The 21-year-old Doncic is averaging 27.2 points, 9.6 assists, and 8.9 rebounds per game.

Fan voting accounts for 50 percent of the vote to determine the 10 starters for the game, scheduled for March 7 in Atlanta.

The other half of the voting comes from current players at 25 percent and a panel of media members make up the other 25 percent.

The fan vote decides the two captains, who then pick the starters regardless of the conference.
