DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - For the second straight season, Mavericks guard Luka Doncic has been named a starter for the NBA All-Star Game.

Fan voting accounted for 50 percent of the vote, while the players and a panel of media members make up the other half of the vote at 25 percent each.


The 21-year-old Slovenian is having another stellar season, averaging 29.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game.

Joining Doncic from the Western Conference will be Los Angeles Lakers forward and captain of one of the teams, LeBron James, Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard, Denver Nuggets Center Nikola Jokic, and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry.

In the Eastern Conference, Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant has been named the captain. Joining him will be Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal and Nets guard Kyrie Irving.
