The Dallas Mavericks continue to talk about the Luka Doncic trade in an effort to gain favor back with the fans, but it continues to backfire.
The latest message from the front office came from Mavs CEO Rick Welts, who made "a promise" to fans when he joined Mark Followill and Devin Harris during the broadcast of Dallas' Tuesday night loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden,
"There is a lot of emotion about it. It's a trade. The wonderful thing about our business is these things have a scorecard. Time, wins & losses will tell whether it was a good deal or a bad deal. I'm going to promise to our fans right now whatever trust we've lost or whatever concerns they have, we're going to earn it back. We're gonna earn it back because we're gonna do this the right way and win championships"
Bobby Belt and RJ Choppy reacted to the latest comments from Mavs' brass, and he's sick and tired of hearing from them.
