UPDATE (5:30): JJ Redick is active and will play his first game as a Maverick tonight vs Philadelphia. Porzingis is out due to injury management, head coach Rick Carlisle says.
DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Fresh off a Sunday night loss to the rival San Antonio Spurs, the Mavericks will be right back in action Monday night vs the Philadelphia 76ers at the American Airlines Center, and it's looking like they'll be getting at least one reinforcement for the contest.
According to the latest injury report released by the league, Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber is listed as probable after being in and out of the lineup recently with right leg soreness. Additionally, Kristaps Porzingis' status is up in the air on the second night of a back-to-back as he's listed as questionable.
The main takeaway from the report, however, is the fact that sharpshooter JJ Redick could make his Mavs debut against his former Sixers' teammates. The 37-year-old is listed as questionable with the right heel injury that has kept him out of the lineup since early March.
The league will issue another injury update later this afternoon and Mavs coach Rick Carlisle will speak with the media about 90 minutes before tip to provide an update on Redick and Porzingis' statuses.
