DALLAS (105.3 the Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks enter the 2023 season with a vastly improved roster from a season ago, giving many fans high expectations of what is to come.

On Thursday afternoon, we got our first glimpse of that, with the full NBA schedule being revealed.

And after how the schedule ultimately shook out for Dallas, things should be intriguing from the jump, with the Mavs set to open the season against No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 25 in a nationally televised affair. ESPN will broadcast the game scheduled to tip-off at 8:30 p.m. CT.

Wembanyama, who has already taken the NBA by storm before stepping foot on the court, will be the center of national attention in his NBA debut, and having Luka Doncic lining up across from him, will only increase that stage.

Dallas' home opener is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 27 against the Brooklyn Nets.

Another key game of note for Dallas includes a Christmas Day matchup vs. the Phoenix Suns, who sport an intimidating roster featuring Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker. The game will be televised by ESPN and will tip-off at 9:30 p.m. CT.

On top of that, Dallas will take part in the first-ever NBA in-season tournament starting with a 9 p.m. tip-off against the Denver Nuggets on November 3. The Mavs will also take on the Clippers, Pelicans, and Rockets in group play.

The tournament will then move to Las Vegas for the semi-finals and finals on Dec. 7 and 9.
