DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - With two stars in tow, the Mavericks are ready to go for it all in order to get into contention for a championship.

Just over two weeks ago, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Mavs are willing to take on salary if means acquiring a star player to join Luka Doncic, and Kristaps Porzingis.

Fast forward to present day, and Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News is reporting that everyone on the team not named Doncic and Porzingis are on the trading block in order to acquire a third star.

"Dallas wants to acquire a third star to augment the pairing of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis, and if that takes adding other teams' unwanted salaries so be it," Townsend wrote Tuesday. "All - repeat all - Mavericks players not named Doncic are available."

As Dallas continues to work the phones in order to bring in a third star, they're also looking to make moves on a smaller, but still important scale.

Townsend writes that the Mavs "have a strong desire" to package the No. 18 and No. 31 overall picks in next month's NBA draft in order to get into the lottery (picks 1-14).

It's unknown who Dallas may have their eyes on with three weeks until the draft takes place on Nov. 18.

As for a third star that could be available, Indiana's Victor Oladipo has been mentioned as a possible trade candidate, and Dallas reportedly will be at the "head of the line" if Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo becomes a free agent this offseason.
