DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks have been busy in the opening days of free agency, signing 3-and-D wings Reggie Bullock and Sterling Brown, and re-signing Tim Hardaway Jr. and Boban Marjanovic.

Still in search of a secondary scorer and ball-handler, however, Dallas also seems to covet former Miami Heat point guard and Sixth Man of the Year candidate, Goran Dragic -- And it appears that Dragic may have the same feelings for Dallas.

“Maybe I would really end my career together with Luka Doncic in a Dallas Mavericks jersey," Dragic told Slovenian reporter Matej Podgoršek of Planet TV. "But these are all guesses now. I still don’t know where I’m going to play. But I definitely want to play with him someday.”

Dragic has been linked to the Mavs on multiple occasions throughout Doncic's tenure with the Mavs, including a failed trade during the 2019 offseason that nearly saw him arrive in the DFW area.

In addition to their close relationship off of the floor, Doncic and Dragic, who share the same agent, Bill Duffy, have shown previous success on the court together as well.

The pair helped lead the Slovenian national team to a gold medal in EuroBasket 2017 -- a tournament in which both Dragic and Doncic were named to the all-tournament first team, and Dragic won the tournament's MVP award.
