As expected, more and more information continues to leak out regarding the Dallas Mavericks' shocking decision to trade superstar Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The latest intel comes from former Mavs' majority owner Mark Cuban, who got into a back-and-forth exchange on Facebook with a former team employee, who wrote on his account that "Cuban should be run out of Dallas" for hiring Nico Harrison and selling the team to the Adelson family.
Messages were exchanged between former Mavericks' event manager Gavin Mulloy and Cuban, but one in particular revealed some new information about the team's sale.
Cuban said he would still run basketball operations when the trade was initially announced. And that was the case for some time, until he was stripped of control.
"I fully expected to run basketball. The nba wouldn’t let me put it in the contract. They took it out," Cuban wrote, according to messages captured by WFAA. "I thought [the Adelsons] would stick to their word because they didn’t know the first thing about running a team. Someone obviously changed their mind."
On Friday's show, Shan and RJ reacted to that comment and everything else Cuban said.
