The Dallas Mavericks' chances of contending for a championship this season went out the window when Kyrie Irving suffered a season-ending torn ACL in his left knee earlier this week. And due to the serious nature of the injury and the fact that Irving could be out for up to a year, the Mavs' chances of winning a title in 2026 are looking bleak.
