DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Stars are feeling confident after their 5-2 Game 3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning Wednesday.

Following the game, Stars defenseman John Klingberg expressed just how confident the group was feeling.

"It's 2-1, they're up one. We're gonna even the series on Friday," Klingberg said.

If the Stars are going to even up the series they know how important it is to stay out of the penalty box in Game 4. Dallas took three early penalties in Game 3, which led to two goals. Coming into Game 3, the Lightning hadn't capitalized on their last 14 power play opportunities.

"They've got a top-notch power play, elite players over there. We've got to stay out of the box if we want to win these games," Stars captain Jamie Benn said.
