DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Stars wanted to add a top-six winger to their lineup this offseason, and they did just that by agreeing to a four-year, $18 million deal with free agent forward Mason Marchment on the first day of NHL free agency on Wednesday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Marchment, 27, had a breakout campaign with the Florida Panthers last season. He tallied career highs in goals (18), assists (29), points (47), plus-minus (+29) and games played (54).
