What does Danny Ainge's future hold? Basketball-wise, it's anybody guess.
We do know this, however, about the now former Celtics president of basketball operations: Ainge is moving. And the Mavs need a new president of basketball operations.
The 62-year-old officially put his Wellesley house on the market as of Monday, with the asking price coming in at $4.5 million.
The 8,300-square-foot home, locate on Wellesley St. resides less than a mile from Babson College. It also offers some unique features, as one might expect.
There is an in-ground trampoline that resides next to a basketball hoop for easy dunking. A downstairs theatre and gym. And, to top it off, a golf simulator.
As for the Mavericks and their search to replace Donnie Nelson, they have hired Sportsology, a consulting firm, to spearhead the search.
It's unknown if Ainge will be on the list of candidates the Mavs speak with, but he certainly would be an excellent get for the organization after he constructed the Celtics' 2008 championship roster and has been among the top executives throughout the NBA during his tenure in Boston.
