When discussing an amazing performance in a sporting event with a food metaphor, I tend to lean more toward the "burger" side of things. For instance, if I hit 10 threes, I'll congratulate myself on the 30-burger. It just sounds right, and that's the way in which some people described Giannis Antetokounmpo's historic performance in Game 6 to lead the charge and bring a championship to Milwaukee.

In doing so, he became the seventh player in NBA history with a 50-point game in the NBA Finals, joining some exclusive company. It's not a very long list of names, and they're all Hall of Famers or future Hall of Famers: LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Jerry West, Rick Barry, Elgin Baylor and Bob Pettit. That's it — plus Giannis, of course.

And while we're sure Giannis celebrated with his teammates in the traditional sense, he also added in a specific food-related celebration in honor of his 50-point explosion. He didn't order 50 burgers, no. That would have been too much. But for a 6-foot-11, 242-pound man like himself, 50 chicken nuggets courtesy of Chick-fil-A was the perfect celebratory snack.

I bet that employee didn't know she'd be on camera for 150,000 people when she was getting ready for work this morning, you know? Goes to show that you should always be on your A-game. In making that order, the Greek Freak also revealed the true reason why he signed with Milwaukee in the first place: to get free Chick-fil-A for life. NBA Finals MVP? Check. Free Chick-fil-A? Still working on it.

If he didn't get free Chick-fil-A now, I'm not sure what else he'll be able to do to get it later on. After all, he did just post the highest average game score over a Finals series — "created by John Hollinger to give a rough measure of a player's productivity," as explained by Basketball Reference — in the history of the league. Here's the top ten, with Giannis proudly sitting atop the leaderboard (via Stathead).

50-point game, 50-burger, 50-piece nugget... it doesn't matter what you call it. That's history right there, and we're lucky to be able to witness it. And by the way — he better have gotten a whole lot of Chick-fil-A sauce with that order.
