6A #4 HUMBLE ATASCOSITA (3-0) at 6A #5 DENTON GUYER (3-0) - 7 p.m. Friday

This is a rare regular season matchup between top five 6A schools, as Houston-area power Atascosita makes their second trip to the DFW area in three weeks.  Earlier this season, they became the first team to beat Allen at Eagle Stadium.  Guyer, which defeated 5AD1 #1 Denton Ryan two weeks ago, comes off a 37-6 win over Mansfield Lake Ridge.  QB Jackson Arnold threw for 3 TDs last week.

ABILENE (1-2) at GRAND PRAIRIE (1-2) - 7 p.m. Friday

Abilene picked up its first win of the season last week, defeating Cedar Park Vista Ridge, 23-19.  Grand Prairie's Gophers have dropped their last two.  They fell to Mesquite, 21-14.

ARLINGTON BOWIE (1-2) at 6A #23 MIDLAND LEGACY (2-1) - 7 p.m. Friday

Midland Legacy (formerly Midland Lee) will face another DFW-area opponent after last week's stunning 43-37 loss to Arlington Martin at Choctaw Stadium.  Legacy led Martin 31-13 at halftime, but was outscored by a 30-6 margin in the second half.  Bowie defeated Mesquite Horn last week, 24-17.  Soph. RB Tavares Duckett ran for 104 yards and 2 TDs.

SAGINAW BOSWELL (1-1, 0-0) at 6A #17 EULESS TRINITY (2-1, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Boswell beat 5A Burleson Centennial last week, 32-24.  Trinity held off 5A Colleyville Heritage, 30-27, after building a 30-6 lead.  QB Ollie Gordon ran for 201 yards and 3 TDs.

HALTOM (0-3, 0-0) at FORT WORTH CHISHOLM TRAIL (2-1, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Haltom lost to 5A Everman, 48-14.  RB Devan Powell ran for 159 yards in the loss.  All three of Haltom's defeats have come to 5A opponents.  Chisholm Trail lost to 5A West Mesquite, 57-36.  RB Israel Kaloso ran for 162 yards and three scores.

FORT WORTH PASCHAL (2-1, 0-0) at NORTH CROWLEY (2-1, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7:30 p.m. Friday

Paschal picked up a 30-24 win over Irving.  RB Chris Gee ran for 196 yards and 2 TDs.  QB Quinton Jackson ran for 152 and two scores in North Crowley's 53-28 loss to DeSoto.

HURST L.D. BELL (0-3, 0-0) at WEATHERFORD (1-2, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

L.D. Bell was held to 83 total yards in last week's 34-0 loss to 3-0 Keller.  Weatherford allowed a late lead to slip away in a 54-48 shootout loss to 5A Cleburne.  Kangaroos QB Ryan Clark threw for four touchdowns.

McKINNEY BOYD (3-0) at TROPHY CLUB BYRON NELSON (3-0) - 7 p.m. Thursday

RB Carter Whitehead ran for 155 yards and a score in Boyd's 30-7 win over Richardson Pearce.  Byron Nelson QB Jacob Wilson threw for 6 TDs in a 50-13 win over Irving MacArthur.

NORTH MESQUITE (1-2) at KELLER (3-0) - 7 p.m. Friday

North Mesquite has lost two straight after falling to 3-0 Garland Lakeview Centennial, 40-22.  Stallions QB Luke Snider threw for 261 yards and 3 TDs.  Keller got 143 yards and a TD from RB Austin Coleman in a 34-0 win over Hurst L.D. Bell.  Keller has posted two shutouts this season and is allowing 7.7 ppg.

KELLER CENTRAL (2-1) at ARLINGTON SAM HOUSTON (2-1) - 7 p.m. Friday

Keller Central lost to Flower Mound Marcus, 41-14.  RB Devin Crawley ran for 82 yards and a TD.  Sam Houston beat Dallas Skyline, 29-21, for their second straight victory.  WR Tav'On Jenkins had six receptions for 93 yards and 2 TDs.

KELLER FOSSIL RIDGE (2-1) at LITTLE ELM (3-0) - 7 p.m. Friday

Fossil Ridge got by Arlington last week, 49-42.  QB Logan Cundiff threw for three scores, including the game-winner with :11 left in regulation.  Little Elm stayed unbeaten with a 35-31 win over Plano West.  QB John Mateer threw for 290 yards and 4 TDs.  Little Elm is 3-0 for the first time since 2017.

WEST MESQUITE (2-1) at KELLER TIMBER CREEK (0-3) - 7 p.m. Thursday

5A West Mesquite grabbed a 57-36 win over 6A FW Chisholm Trail.  WR Gabriel Corona caught 11 passes for 245 yards and three scores.  Timber Creek hopes to avoid a second straight loss to a 5A opponent.  They fell to 3-0 Richland, 34-30.  QB Jacob Porter threw for 310 yards and 2 TDs.

NORTHWEST EATON (3-0) at DENTON BRASWELL (2-1) - 7 p.m. Friday

Eaton snuck by Hebron, 35-34.  QB Tyler Fussell had four touchdown passes in the win.  Braswell got 174 yards and 2 TDs from RB Jaylon Burton in a 38-28 win over Sachse.

6A #11 ARLINGTON MARTIN (2-1) at 6A #3 SOUTHLAKE CARROLL (3-0) - 7 p.m. Friday

This matchup has "Game of the Week" written all over it.  Martin has won two straight after last week's amazing 43-37 comeback win over Midland Legacy.  Martin trailed 31-13 at halftime.  Warriors RB Sergio Snider scored 3 TDs, including a 16-yard run to seal the victory.  The Carroll defense was dominant in a 31-0 win over Prosper.  Sr. LB Nate Gall led a Dragons defense that held Prosper to 170 total yards and nine first downs.

6A #15 ALLEN (2-1) at TYLER LEGACY (2-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday

The Allen Eagles this week make a rare non-district road trip.  One week after having its 84-game regular season win streak snapped in a home loss to Humble Atascosita, Allen bounced back with a 35-16 win over Cedar Hill.  RB Jaylen Jenkins ran for 156 yards and 3 TDs.  Legacy comes off a 46-20 loss to 5A Longview.

6A #4 HUMBLE ATASCOSITA (3-0) at 6A #5 DENTON GUYER (3-0) - 7 p.m. Friday

This one also deserves "Game of the Week" consideration, as Atascosita makes their second trip to the DFW area in three weeks.  Earlier this season, they became the first team to beat Allen at Eagle Stadium.  Guyer comes off a 37-6 win over Mansfield Lake Ridge.  QB Jackson Arnold threw for 3 TDs.

McKINNEY (2-1) at SHERMAN (2-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

McKinney rolled to a 35-9 win over Rowlett.  Sr. S Damon Youngblood intercepted three passes last week, returning one for a touchdown.  Sherman beat Saginaw, 52-10, for its second straight win.

PROSPER (2-1) at ARLINGTON LAMAR (0-3) - 7 p.m. Friday

The powerful Prosper offense was silenced in a 31-0 loss to Southlake Carroll.  Arlington Lamar lost to 3-0 Lewisville, 42-17.  Vikings RB Laron Hulet ran for 103 yards and a score.

DISTRICT 6-6A - ALL TEAMS OPEN

DISTRICT 7-6A - ALL TEAMS OPEN

MESQUITE (1-2) at ARLINGTON (1-2) - 7 p.m. Friday

Mesquite held off Grand Prairie, 21-14.  Josh Williams recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown for the Skeeters.  Arlington has dropped its last two after falling to Keller Fossil Ridge, 49-42.  Colts QB Ryley Zalusky had four TD passes in the loss.

SOUTH GRAND PRAIRIE (2-1) at DALLAS SKYLINE (0-3) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

SGP has won its last two.  They beat Hewitt Midway last week, 27-16.  QB Michael Stallworth ran for 3 TDs.  Skyline lost to Arlington Sam Houston, 29-21.  QB Trey Arroyo passed for 260 yards and 3 TDs.

WYLIE (0-3, 0-0) at GARLAND (3-0, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Wylie is still searching for its first win after last week's 34-17 loss to Plano East.  Pirates RB Blake Fuller ran for 101 yards and a score.  Garland continued its hot start with a 49-21 win over Plano Prestonwood.  QB Cergio Perez threw for 298 yards and 5 TDs.  Garland has outscored its first three opponents by a 159-37 margin.

GARLAND NAAMAN FOREST (0-0, 0-0) at NORTH GARLAND (3-0, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Thursday

After running into major COVID issues, Naaman Forest canceled its first three games of the season.  They will be jumping directly into district play against one of the 9-6A favorites in North Garland, which got 393 total yards and eight total TDs (four pass/four run) from QB Godspower Nwawuike last week in a 57-51 win over Richardson Berkner.

ROWLETT (0-3, 0-0) at SOUTH GARLAND (0-3, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Thursday

Rowlett lost to McKinney, 35-9.  RB Devonta Crow ran for a score.  Despite 121 rushing yards and 2 TDs from QB Tyreon Key, South Garland fell to Richardson, 46-28.

GARLAND LAKEVIEW CENTENNIAL (3-0, 0-0) at SACHSE (1-2, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Lakeview Centennial stayed unbeaten with a 40-22 win over North Mesquite.  QB Jonathan Hester had two TD passes and ran for a score.  Sachse comes off a 38-28 loss to Denton Braswell.  QB Alex Orji tossed three TD passes and ran for a touchdown.

MESQUITE HORN (0-2) at TYLER (1-2) - 7 p.m. Friday

Horn got two touchdown runs from RB Darrius White in a 24-17 loss to Arlington Bowie.  Tyler found the win column last week with a 40-12 victory over Nacogdoches.

6A #6 ROCKWALL (3-0) at 5AD1 #4 HIGHLAND PARK (2-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

This is always among the more entertaining games of the year.  Rockwall, with its high-octane offense, looks to become the rare opponent that beats the Scots at Highlander Stadium.  Rockwall thumped Lake Travis last week, 59-35, as Sr. QB Braedyn Locke threw for 506 yards and 5 TDs.  Highland Park picked up a quality win over 6A Coppell, 28-13.  Scots QB Brennan Storer passed for two TDs and threw for one.

6A #9 ROCKWALL-HEATH (2-1) at McKINNEY NORTH - 7 p.m. Friday

Rockwall-Heath rolled to a 62-21 win over 5A Red Oak.  QB Josh Hoover had a couple of TD passes in the victory.  McKinney North got three touchdowns from RB Jayden Walker in a 41-29 loss to Marshall.

CEDAR HILL (1-2, 0-0) at MANSFIELD LAKE RIDGE (0-3, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7:30 p.m. Friday

Cedar Hill lost to Allen, 35-16.  Longhorns QB Cedric Harden, Jr., ran for 99 yards and 2 TDs.  Lake Ridge lost to 3-0 Denton Guyer, 37-6.  QB Torin Sheehy ran for a score.

6A #7 DUNCANVILLE (1-1, 0-0) at 6A #20 DeSOTO (2-1, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7:30 p.m. Friday

Duncanville should come into the annual district showdown with DeSoto rested, as last week's scheduled game with Bishop Sycamore, OH, was canceled.  DeSoto warmed up for league play with a 53-28 win over North Crowley.  Eagles QB Matt Allen added four more TD passes last week.

WAXAHACHIE (2-1, 0-0) at HEWITT MIDWAY (0-3, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7:30 p.m. Friday

The 100th all-time meeting with Ennis turned out to be a classic and a heartbreaker for Waxahachie.  After taking a 21-14 lead in overtime, Waxahachie saw the rival Lions find the end zone and then convert a two-point attempt for a 22-21 win.  QB Roderick Hartsfield, Jr., accounted for three scores for Waxahachie.  Midway lost to South Grand Prairie, 27-16.

MANSFIELD (2-1, 0-0) at WACO (0-3, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Mansfield closed out non-district play with a 38-20 win over 5A crosstown rival Mansfield Legacy, 38-20.  Tigers QB Sergio Kennedy threw for 3 TDs.  Waco continued to struggle in a 42-6 loss to Killeen.

ABILENE COOPER (2-1, 0-0) at JUSTIN NORTHWEST (1-2, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Abilene Cooper comes in on a two-game win streak after last week's 30-24 victory over crosstown rival Abilene Wylie.  Cooper's only loss is to 3-0 6A Keller.  Justin Northwest got three TD passes and a touchdown run from QB Jake Strong in a 46-43 loss to Grapevine.

AZLE (2-1, 0-0) at ARLINGTON HEIGHTS (1-2, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Azle has won their last two, including last week's 42-37 decision over Burleson.  Arlington Heights fell to Aledo, 64-0.

CROWLEY (0-3, 0-0) at GRANBURY (2-1, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

After a tough early schedule, Crowley is still looking for its first win of the year.  The Eagles fell to Birdville last week, 28-13.  Granbury rolled up 48 points in the first QUARTER last week in a 76-0 blowout win over FW South Hills.

SAGINAW (1-2, 0-0) at FORT WORTH BREWER (2-1, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Saginaw closed out non-district play with a 52-10 loss to Sherman.  Brewer defeated North Forney, 35-10, as QB Jaylen Spriggs ran for a score.

DISTRICT 4-5A-1 - ALL TEAMS OFF THIS WEEK

5AD1 #1 DENTON RYAN (2-1, 1-0) at DENTON (0-3, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday

Ryan bounced back from the loss to state-ranked 6A Denton Guyer with a 28-10 win over Frisco Reedy in the district opener.  Raiders LB/RB Anthony Hill, Jr., scored on an interception return and a TD run last week.  Despite 203 yards rushing and a score from RB Coco Brown, Denton lost to The Colony, 38-17.

FRISCO CENTENNIAL (0-3, 0-1) - OFF

Centennial lost to Frisco Wakeland in the district opener, 56-2.

FRISCO HERITAGE (2-1, 0-1) at FRISCO REEDY (0-3, 0-1) - 7:30 p.m. Thursday

Heritage dropped their district opener to Frisco Lone Star, 51-24.  WR Bryce Gilchrist had seven receptions for 128 yards and two TDs.  Reedy opened district play with a 28-10 loss to 5AD1 #1 Denton Ryan.

FRISCO INDEPENDENCE (1-1, 0-0) at 5AD1 #8 FRISCO LONE STAR (2-1, 1-0) - 5:30 p.m. Friday

This is the district opener for Independence, which was off last week.  Their only loss is to 3-0 Wichita Falls Rider.  Despite missing starting QB Garret Rangel, Lone Star rolled to a 51-24 win over Frisco Heritage.  Backup QB Gabriel Barrientes was outstanding, as he threw for 294 yards and four scores.

THE COLONY (1-2, 1-0) at FRISCO WAKELAND (2-0, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday

Both schools got off to strong starts in district play last week.  The Colony RB Kamden Wesley ran for 102 yards and a TD in a 38-17 win over Denton.  Wakeland rolled over Frisco Centennial, 56-2.  They have outscored their first two opponents by a margin of 111-9.

LANCASTER (2-1, 1-0) at CARROLLTON NEWMAN SMITH (1-2, 0-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Lancaster has shut out its last two opponents, including last week's 62-0 win over Dallas Samuell in the district opener.  Newman Smith lost to 3-0 Dallas Bryan Adams, 31-14.

CARROLLTON R.L. TURNER (1-2, 0-1) at DALLAS W.T. WHITE (2-1, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Thursday

R.L. Turner dropped its district opener to 3-0 Dallas Sunset, 42-33.  LB Edgar Castilla intercepted two passes in the loss.  W.T. White opened league play with a 42-21 win over Dallas Molina.  RB Daviawn Bishop returned a kickoff for a touchdown, and added a TD run.

DALLAS BRYAN ADAMS (3-0, 1-0) - OFF

Bryan Adams opened district play with a 31-14 win over Carrollton Newman Smith.

DALLAS MOLINA (0-3, 0-1) at DALLAS SAMUELL (0-3, 0-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Molina lost to W.T. White in the district opener, 42-21.  WR Jaylin Johnson caught nine passes for 147 yards and two scores.  Samuell remained winless with a 62-0 loss to Lancaster, and has been outscored 141-0 through three games.

DALLAS WOODROW WILSON (1-1, 0-0) at DALLAS SUNSET (3-0, 1-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

This is the district opener for Woodrow Wilson, which was off last week.  Sunset is among the season's early surprises.  They stayed unbeaten with a 42-33 win over R.L. Turner in the district opener.  QB Johnie Mendoza had six total TDs for Sunset, which is 3-0 for the first time since 2001.

5AD2 #1 ALEDO (3-0, 0-0) at BURLESON (2-1, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Aledo, the state's top-ranked team in 5AD2, is clicking on all cylinders heading into district play.  The Bearcats come off a 64-0 win over Arlington Heights.  Aledo has outscored its opponents 156-42 this season.  Burleson lost to Azle last week, 42-37.

ARLINGTON SEGUIN (1-1, 0-0) at CLEBURNE (2-1, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Arlington Seguin was off last week.  Cleburne tuned up for district play with a 54-48 win over 6A Weatherford.

MANSFIELD TIMBERVIEW (1-2, 0-0) at EVERMAN (1-2, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Timberview got two TD passes each from QBs Jaeden Marshall and Cameron Bates in a 41-37 win over Flower Mound.  Everman rolled to a 48-14 win over 6A Haltom.  Bulldogs RB Jonathan Williams turned in one of the week's top performers, running for 272 yards and 2 TDs.

WACO UNIVERSITY (0-3, 0-0) at JOSHUA (2-1, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7 p.m. Friday

Waco University comes into district play off a 49-21 loss to 3-0 Terrell.  Joshua fell to 3-0 4A Lake Worth, 31-25.

DALLAS ADAMSON (0-3, 0-1) - OFF

Adamson forfeited last week's game with Seagoville.

DALLAS THOMAS JEFFERSON (0-2, 0-1) at DALLAS CONRAD (1-2, 0-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Jefferson has been blanked in its first two games, including last week's 63-0 loss to Mesquite Poteet in the district opener.  Conrad was shut out by Dallas Kimball in its league opener, 41-0.

DALLAS HILLCREST (2-0, 0-0) at SOUTH OAK CLIFF (1-1, 1-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

This is the district opener for unbeaten Hillcrest, which was off last week.  SOC picked up a district win without taking the field last week.  The Golden Bears were awarded a forfeit victory over Dallas Spruce.  For potential tiebreaker purposes, the game will be recorded as a 17-0 win for SOC.

DALLAS KIMBALL (1-1, 1-0) at SEAGOVILLE (3-0, 1-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Kimball allowed 26 total yards last week in winning its district opener over Dallas Conrad, 41-0.  Seagoville picked up a district win by forfeit over Dallas Adamson.  Seagoville gets credit for a 17-0 victory.

DALLAS SPRUCE (1-2, 0-1) at MESQUITE POTEET (2-1, 1-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday (CANCELED)

Spruce forfeited its district opener against South Oak Cliff.  Poteet opened district play with a 63-0 win over Thomas Jefferson.  RB Joey Shaw ran for 3 TDs.

5AD2 #7 DENISON (2-0, 0-0) at 5AD2 #3 LUCAS LOVEJOY (3-0, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday

This is the district opener for Denison, which was off last week.  They have opened with victories over Sherman and Fort Worth Brewer.  Lovejoy pounded Princeton in its district opener, 69-21.  WR Jaxson Lavender caught ten passes for 164 yards and 3 TDs.  The Leopards have outscored their first three opponents by a margin of 184-42.

FRISCO (3-0, 1-0) - OFF

Frisco defeated Lake Dallas in its district opener, 70-27.  Raccoons RB Bradford Martin ran for 226 yards and three scores.

FRISCO LEBANON TRAIL (1-2, 0-1) at LAKE DALLAS (2-1, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Friday

Lebanon Trail is out to snap a two-game losing streak.  They fell to Frisco Memorial in the district opener, 41-14.  Lake Dallas lost to Frisco, 70-27.  RB Drew McKinney had two touchdown runs.

FRISCO LIBERTY (3-0, 1-0) at FRISCO MEMORIAL (3-0, 1-0) - 7 p.m. Friday

Liberty held off Prosper Rock Hill to kick off district play, 43-36.  Dynamic QB Keldric Luster turned in another outstanding performance, as he was 21 of 23 passing for 268 yards, with five total TDs.  Memorial opened district play with a 41-14 win over Frisco Lebanon Trail.

PRINCETON (2-1, 0-1) at PROSPER ROCK HILL (1-2, 0-1) - 7 p.m. Friday

Princeton ran into powerful Lucas Lovejoy in the league opener, falling by a count of 69-21.  Elijah Penny had a kickoff return for a TD for Princeton.  Rock Hill dropped a close one to 3-0 Frisco Liberty last week, 43-36.  RB Donovan Shannon ran for 107 yards and 2 TDs.

ROYSE CITY (3-0, 0-0) at CORSICANA (3-0, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7:30 p.m. Friday

Royse City beat Wylie East last week, 28-20.  Corsicana remained unbeaten with a 23-7 victory over Whitehouse.

CRANDALL (2-1, 0-0) at SULPHUR SPRINGS (0-3, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7:30 p.m. Friday

Crandall beat 4A Alvarado last week, 68-42.  Sulphur Springs fell to Kaufman, 34-32.

5AD2 #6 ENNIS (3-0, 0-0) at GREENVILLE (1-2, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7:30 p.m. Friday

Ennis celebrated the 100th meeting in its all-time series with Waxahachie by grabbing a 22-21 win in overtime.  After Waxahachie took a 21-14 lead in the first extra period, Ennis got a TD pass and then the game-winning two-point conversion from QB Jackson Gilkey, who threw for 212 yards.  Greenville rolled into district play with a 59-0 win over 4A Carrollton Ranchview.

FORNEY (1-2, 0-0) at NORTH FORNEY (1-2, 0-0) - DISTRICT OPENER, 7:30 p.m. Friday

Both teams come into district play on two-game losing streaks.  Forney fell to Texarkana Texas High last week, 34-13.  North Forney lost to Fort Worth Brewer, 35-10.  North Forney Fr. WR Ledarious Jones scored on a 74-yard reception.

GRAHAM (1-1) at DECATUR (1-2) - 7 p.m. Friday

Graham returns to action after a week off.  Decatur lost to 3-0 Midlothian Heritage, 48-14.  QB Karter Houchin ran for a score and threw for a TD in the loss.

VAN ALSTYNE (2-1) at GAINESVILLE (0-3) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Van Alstyne dropped a close one to 3-0 Anna, 42-35.  Gainesville fell to 3-0 Aubrey, 62-6.

VENUS (0-1) at LAKE WORTH (3-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

After a COVID-related delay, Venus opened its season with a 48-8 loss to 3A Dallas Life Oak Cliff.  Lake Worth is 3-0 for the first time since 2006 after last week's 31-25 win over 5A Joshua.  The Bullfrogs have recorded two wins over 5A opponents this season.

GODLEY (1-1) at 4AD1 #10 SPRINGTOWN (3-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Godley lost to 3-0 3A Grandview last week, 37-14.  Springtown edged Waco Connally, 30-29.

KAUFMAN (3-0) at ALVARADO (0-3) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Kaufman held on for a 34-32 win over Sulphur Springs.  RB Braxton Garmon ran for three scores.  Despite running for more than 500 yards, Alvarado lost to 5A Crandall, 68-42.

4AD1 #4 MIDLOTHIAN HERITAGE (3-0) at MELISSA (1-2) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

After last week's 48-14 win over Decatur, Midlothian Heritage has allowed only 44 points through three games.  QB Kaden Brown ran for four touchdowns.  Melissa got the offense cranked up in a 60-7 win over Dallas Carter.  QB Sam Fennegan threw for 281 yards and 6 TDs.

4AD1 #1 ARGYLE (3-0) at 4AD1 #7 WACO LA VEGA (2-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

4AD1 #1 Argyle comes into this always-anticipated matchup as the defending state champion.  They defeated La Vega in the regular season and in the playoffs last year.  Argyle's defense forced five turnovers in last week's 23-0 win over Celina.  Waco La Vega fell to Austin LBJ last week, 28-7.

WAXAHACHIE LIFE (1-2) at CADDO MILLS (3-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Waxahachie Life found the win column last week with a 35-0 victory over North Dallas.  Life QB Colby Grmela put up an amazing stat line, as he was 44 of 47 passing for 312 yards and 4 TDs.  Caddo Mills stayed unbeaten with a 63-41 win over Canton.  Caddo Mills is averaging 54.0 ppg this season.

WILMER-HUTCHINS (0-2) at KENNEDALE (1-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Both teams were off last week.

PARIS NORTH LAMAR (0-3) at ANNA (3-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Paris North Lamar fell to Nevada Community, 29-6.  They have been outscored 118-12 through three games.  Anna continued its impressive start under new HC Seth Parr with a 42-35 win over Van Alstyne.  Coyotes QB Daniel McNair passed for 355 yards and 4 TDs.

CARROLLTON RANCHVIEW (0-2) at DALLAS CARTER (1-1) - 7 p.m. Thursday

Ranchview lost to 5A Greenville, 59-0.  Carter dropped a 60-7 decision to Melissa.

AUBREY (3-0) at TERRELL (3-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Very solid matchup between unbeatens here.  Aubrey rolled over Gainesville last week, 62-6.  Terrell beat 5A Waco University, 49-21.

DALLAS PINKSTON (0-2) at DALLAS MADISON (1-2) - 7 p.m. Thursday

Pinkston lost to FW Southwest last week, 17-6.  QB J'Marcus Sloan threw for 183 yards and a TD.  After a 34-21 win over Dallas Lincoln, 3A Madison will be facing its fourth consecutive 4A opponent to start the season.

QUINLAN FORD (3-0) at DALLAS ROOSEVELT (2-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Quinlan Ford defeated Ferris, 58-43.  Ford is averaging 51.0 ppg this season.  Roosevelt comes in on a two-game win streak.  They beat FW Eastern Hills, 24-19.  QB B.J. Higgins passed for 254 yards and 3 TDs.

DALLAS LIFE OAK CLIFF (2-1) at NORTH DALLAS (1-1) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Life Oak Cliff has won its last two, including last week's 48-8 victory over Venus.  North Dallas looks to bounce back from a 35-0 loss to Waxahachie Life.

KRUM (3-0) at BRIDGEPORT (0-3) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

Krum defeated Farmersville, 48-15.  Bridgeport lost to Hillsboro, 33-10.

IOWA PARK (1-2) at 3AD1 #2 BROCK (2-0) - 7:30 p.m. Friday

4A Iowa Park routed Burkburnett last week, 54-7.  Brock was off last week.

SANGER (2-1) at MINERAL WELLS (3-0) - 7 p.m. Friday

Sanger beat 3A Howe, 61-24.  Mineral Wells defeated Benbrook, 28-8.
