
Former Pirates pitcher Tyler Glasnow, who is now thriving in Tampa Bay showed his appreciation for his center fielder in a very NSFW way Wednesday night.
After Rays’ center fielder Kevin Kiermaier made a spectacular catch on the warning track, Glasnow’s reaction was caught on camera.
“Holy f***ing sh*t. Mother f***ing Kev. Every G*d damn time.
What the f**k,” Glasnow could be seen mouthing after the catch.
After the game, Glasnow said he mother texted him and told him, “you gotta stop cussing on TV, like cover your mouth or something.”
The 27-year-old drafted by the Pirates in the 5th round of the 2011 draft is emerging as one of the best pitchers in the league.
He’s currently 3-1 with an ERA of 1.67 and has the third most strike outs so far this season (56) behind only Jacob DeGrom (59) and Shane Bieber (57). Former Bucco Gerrit Cole is fourth (50).
Tampa shut out the A’s 2-0 with Glasnow going 7.0 innings giving up five hits, two walks and struck out 10.
