The Pastor of Pain Corey Miller joined Kyle Bailey on The Clubhouse to discuss the big matchup in South Bend this weekend between Notre Dame and Clemson, and why he thinks Trevor Lawrence is out of the Heisman race.
The first thing that Corey weighed in on is the Clemson-Notre Dame game as he believed that Brian Kelly really wanted Trevor Lawrence to play this Saturday as the narrative if they beat Clemson will have an asterisk beside it because Trevor didn't play.
Despite the injury to Trevor Lawrence Corey says the injuries on defense have exposed the holes on defense even more as their defensive line has not been as successful as years prior and he thinks the D-Line could get exposed against a strong Notre Dame O-Line.
When it came to Trevor Lawrence recovering from COVID Corey said that he is out of the Heisman race considering he has missed 2 games as he thinks it's now not close between him and Alabama QB Mac Jones, but Corey does say that Clemson RB Travis Etienne is in the thick of the race.
