Wrong sport, KP!

Kristaps Porzingis gets paid to play basketball for the Dallas Mavericks, but he was looking like a soccer player Tuesday night at Chase Center. In the fourth quarter of a 130-92 blowout against the Warriors, Porzingis kicked a ball into the crowd in frustration after turning the ball over.

Porzingis looked like he was trying to kick the ball off the stanchion behind the hoop but it barely grazed his target and went a few rows deep behind the baseline. The big fella lost his cool for a second but quickly apologized to fans multiple times on his exit.

By that point of the game, the Mavs were already down by 24 so his absence didn’t have much of an effect on the outcome. It doesn’t look like anyone was hurt by the wayward basketball, so just chalk this one up as a goofy, frustration-caused ejection.
