It seems only appropriate for the GOAT to present Kobe Bryant’s enshrinement into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

The NBA released the names of inductees and presenters for the 2020 Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which was delayed to May 15 of this year due to COVID, and Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan will be the one presenting the late Los Angeles Lakers star.

Per TMZ Sports, the decision on who to present Bryant's induction was left to his family.

Jordan and Bryant had a special friendship and often referred to each other as “little brother” and “big brother.” The two had a mutual respect for each other on the court as Bryant broke into the league while Jordan was on his second dynasty run with the Bulls.

Following Bryant’s death in a helicopter crash in Los Angeles last January, Jordan delivered an emotional speech at a memorial for Bryant at the Staples Center.

Bryant was voted into the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, just months after his sudden death.

Covid has resulted in the ceremony to be delayed to this year, but it will surely be another emotional night.
