MLB icon Manny Ramirez's baseball journey will continue - this time in Australia.

According to RADIO.COM Sports MLB Insider Jon Heyman, Ramirez, now 48 years old, has inked a one-year deal with the Sydney Blue Sox, who play in the Australian Baseball League. The deal also includes a club option for 2021, per Heyman.

“He can still swing the bat. He’s still got it,” Hector Zepeda, Ramirez's agent, told Heyman.

Ramirez, of course, is one of the most prolific hitters in MLB history, as the 12-time All-Star slugged 555 career home runs during his 19-year big league career. He most notably played for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, helping the Red Sox to win World Series titles in 2004 and 2007. Prior to 2004, the Red Sox hadn't won a World Series since 1918. With 29 career postseason home runs, Ramirez is one of the most accomplished postseason hitters in baseball history.

A nine-time Silver Slugger Award winner, Ramirez last played Major League Baseball in 2011, as he spent five games with the Tampa Bay Rays, before abruptly retiring over a looming suspension for a failed PED test. Ramirez last played at the Triple-A level in 2014 with the Cubs organization, and did spend the 2014-15 Dominican Winter League season playing for Aguilas Cibaenas.
