MRI confirms torn ACL for Odell Beckham Jr., season over

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – As feared, an MRI Monday confirmed that Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a torn ACL and will be lost for the season.

Surgery has yet to be scheduled for Beckham, who will be placed on injured reserve.

Beckham suffered the injury in the first quarter of Sunday's 37-34 win at Cincinnati while trying to chase down Bengals cornerback Darius Phillips, who had just intercepted Baker Mayfield’s pass intended for Beckham.

Beckham appeared to get upended at the end of the play when he collided with Browns fullback Andy Janovich in midair.

Beckham has 23 catches for 319 yards and three touchdowns this season.
