The NBA is doing all it can to manage its latest COVID outbreak.
The league decided on Sunday to postpone at least five more games as teams continue to deal with a shortage of players due to COVID.

Sunday’s Cavaliers-Hawks, Nets-Nuggets and Sixers-Pelicans have all been postponed. Monday’s game between the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors and Tuesday’s Nets game against the Washington Wizards have also been postponed.
It’s unclear if more games involving these teams will be affected, although ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski noted there is optimism that the Sixers will play in Boston on Monday.
The Nets appear to be affected the most as 10 players are in COVID-19 protocols. The Cavs, on the other hand, have seven players in COVID protocols after five more tested positive on Sunday.
The Sixers have Andre Drummond, Shake Milton and Georges Niang in COVID protocols while Danny Green, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey were all questionable to play on Sunday and Furkan Korkmaz was battling a non-COVID illness.
NBA COVID czar David Weiss has said the league will postpone games if a team has fewer than eight players available, but also that each game will be evaluated individually and will postpone games if teams have more than eight players available if deemed medically necessary to do so.
