Nine Texans are part of the 88-player field in the 87th Masters Tournament, which tees off at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia on Thursday.
It's the premier stop on the PGA Tour and is considered the most prestigious of the four Majors.
Six players with North Texas connections are in the field including SMU alums Bryson DeChambeau and Charles Osborne, Dallas resident and UT grad Scottie Scheffler, Colleyville resident and Texas A&M alum Ryan Palmer, Plano's Will Zalatoris and Dallas Jesuit product and UT alum Jordan Spieth.
The other three Texans are A&M alum Cameron Champ, San Antonio native Patrick Reed and Baylor grad Jimmy Walker.
According to Las Vegas, the Texans with the best odds of winning it all are DeChambeau and Spieth, who won the 2015 Masters.
