Through two rounds, the pressure of the FedEx Cup playoffs isn't having any negative effects on Scottie Scheffler.
The 24-year-old former University of Texas Longhorn posted a 12-under 59 on Friday at the Northern Trust for the 12th sub-60 round in PGA Tour history.
Scheffler, of Highland Park, birdied four of his final five holes to reach the feat. The rookie is currently tied for the lead at -13.
Eleven players have broken 60 in tour history, with Jim Furyk achieving it twice.
Furyk is the only player to shoot a 58 in a PGA event, having done so at the Travelers Championship in 2016.
