DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Rangers manager Chris Woodward praised rookie outfielder Leody Taveras in his weekly appearance with the K&C Masterpiece on 105.3 The Fan.
Here is one of the highlights:
"Taveras has pulled Choo (Shin-Soo) aside many times and asked him about leading off. I think we're going to transition into that ... leading off Taveras. And maybe, hitting Choo third or so. And Choo understands Taveras is our future.
"When you have hungry players and really competitive players and they want to learn and they want to get better, they are going to get better. He falls into that category. He's one of the hungriest younger players I've ever seen."
