In the midst of the 2022 season that saw the Rangers finish with a record of 68-94, owner Ray Davis fired president of baseball operations and general manager Jon Daniels.

Daniels and now general manager Chris Young signed Corey Seager, Marcus Semien and Jon Gray prior to the 2022 season, and Young continued the spending spree last offseason by bringing in starting pitchers Jacob deGrom, Nathan Eovaldi, and Andrew Heaney.

The club is off to its hottest start in franchise history with a record of 40-21, good enough for the second-best mark in MLB. Young is getting a lot of praise around these parts for (and some criticism after deGrom suffered a season-ending arm injury) the team's 180, but how much credit should we be giving Daniels? Shan, RJ and Bobby discussed that topic on Friday's show.
