The second half of the season begins Friday, and we're all officially on Shohei Ohtani trade watch.

With the Aug. 1 trade deadline nearing and the Angels losers of 9 of their last ten games, Ohtani's name continues to come up in trade talks.

On a recent appearance on ESPN's 'Get Up,' MLB insider Buster Olney listed some clubs who will most likely go after the superstar if the Angels elect to move Ohtani. Among them: The Texas Rangers.

Olney also listed the Yankees and Rays as teams who would be interested in trading for Ohtani.

Ohtani, 29, is slashing .302/.387/.663 with an MLB-best 32 home runs and 71 RBI. As a pitcher, he is 7-4 with a 3.32 ERA.

Ohtani would provide a major boost to the Rangers' powerful offense and would give them a much-needed frontline starter for the stretch run and postseason. But how much would the club be willing to trade for a player on an expiring contract?

105.3 The Fan's Rangers broadcaster Jared Sandler joined Shan, RJ and Bobby to discuss the latest Ohtani report and the possibility that the phenom could end up in Texas on Friday's show.
