DALLAS (105.3 the Fan) - The Texas Rangers look to be adding some potential bullpen depth on Friday afternoon after a report surfaced that the team intends to sign pitcher Edubray Ramos to a minor league deal.
The 27-year-old spent last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers but did not see the field.
He also spent the four previous seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies, where he went 7-11, with a 3.71 ERA, and had 168 strikeouts, with 61 walks in 173 appearances.
Ramos, who has been in the league since 2010, originally signed as an international free agent with the St. Louis Cardinals, though they released him in 2011.
Ramos then joined the Phillies organization in 2013, where he eventually made his major league debut in 2016 against the San Francisco Giants, getting an out on the only batter he faced.
