Josh Smith walks it off, but is this Rangers offense beyond saving?

The Rangers got a much-needed win over the Astros yesterday thanks to Josh Smith's walk-off homer in the bottom of the 10th, but that disguised the fact that the Rangers' offense had only two runs through 9 innings. Will the continued struggles of the offense kill what little chance the team has of winning the AL West and attempting to defend their World Series title?
