Tom Brady may not be the best golfer, but he may have the best golf balls.
A Twitter user claimed to have been playing a couple holes behind Brady on Friday when he stumbled upon a custom-made ball the seven-time Super Bowl champion left behind on the course.
The gentleman, whose tweets indicate he was playing at Pebble Beach over the weekend, posted a photo of the ball on Twitter, which read “Titleist 12” on one side with the roman numerals of the seven Super Bowls Brady one on the other.
If these are indeed Brady’s golf balls, it is quite the power move and a page out of his old head coach Bill Belichick’s playbook, as a matter of fact.
Belichick famously owns a boat named “VIII Rings” in honor of his eight Super Bowl rings — six as head coach of the New England Patriots and two as an assistant with the New York Giants.
Brady’s golf balls are a similar flex as the 43-year-old appears to be preparing himself for “The Match” next month when he pairs with Phil Mickelson to face Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau in a charity golf tournament.
In this day and age, we can never be too sure if these really are the balls Brady is using, though. Perhaps the TNT broadcast can confirm for us during “The Match” if Brady is playing with balls that include his Super Bowl accomplishments on them.
