With the regular season coming to an end, black Monday sa several head coaches fired around the league. The Browns fired Freddie Kitchens while the Giants fired Pat Shurmur.

While many around the league expected teams to engage ith Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman as a head coaching candidate, interest has been shown in defensive coordinator Don Martindale.

So far, the Browns will interview Ravens OC Greg Roman & the Giants want to interview DC Wink Martindale.John Harbaugh said he'll honor all requests for head coaching interviews. As he should. Both men have been outstanding & deserve whatever opportunities that come their way.

Martindale has served as the Ravens defensive coordinator the last two seasons, producing a top three defense collectively. With the Ravens on a bye week and awaiting a Divisional playoff game, the Ravens coaching staff has been a hot commodity.

Although it would take a dream job to get Martindale out of Baltimore, an offensive coordinator has already been linked to him.

Brady, currently with LSU, has been terrific with quarterback Joe Burrow. Burrow won the Heisman in his only season with Brady, throwing for 5,208 yards and 55 touchdowns.

Often times in the NFL, major success leads to many players and coaches get poached. For Martindale, his main focus is on a Super Bowl title with head coaching aspirations to follow.
