The Baltimore Ravens chinched a playoff berth last week, but they can further their playoff picture with a win over the New York Jets tonight.
How the Ravens can clinch the AFC North:
1. Win or Tie
2. Steelers Loss or Tie
How the Ravens can Clinch a First-Round Bye:
1. Ravens Win and Patriots Loss
2. Ravens Win and Chiefs Loss/Tie
3. Ravens Tie and Chiefs Loss
How the Ravens can Clinch Home-Field Advantage:
1. Ravens Win and Patriots Loss and Chiefs Loss/Tie
Obviously there's a lot of scenarios, but the most simple one is win and the Ravens are AFC North Champions for the second straight season.
To me, the one to watch is home-field advantage. The Ravens have never hosted an AFC Chanpionship in franchise history and locking up a first-round bye and the No. 1 overall seed would mean Baltimore only needs one win to do that.
The Ravens are two-touchdown favorites tonight against the Jets and they should handle business as usual.
