The Ravens have made a number of in-season additions on defense, and one of them performed at the highest level on Sunday.
"Fort was a force against the Niners in Week 13, as the eighth-year linebacker made an impact in almost every facet of play," PFF wrote. "He produced one QB hurry from three snaps as a blitzer, tallied two defensive stops and a tackle for loss against the run and held his lone target in coverage to just three receiving yards. All in all, it was a good day for Baltimore."
Fort played 21 defensive snaps in the 20-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers, replacing an injured Patrick Onwausor throughout the game. His play, along with Josh Bynes has been a big reason why the Ravens have improved since their last loss in Week 4.
Fort was also awarded with a two-year, $5.5 million extension in November.
If Onwuasor does miss time with an ankle injury, Fort will be the leading candidate to take starting snaps on Sunday against the Bills.
