During the Ravens 45-6 blowout vicotry, there was hardly anything to complain about for Baltimore.

The Ravens rushing attack smothered the Rams defense, accumulating 285 rush yards. The pass protection for Lamar Jackson was as good as expected, particularly when defending two-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald.

However Baltimore endured a scare late in the 2nd quarter when a defensive lineman landed on center Matt Skura's leg. Offensive linemen frequently have this happen within the trenches but Skura received bad news Tuesday.

Skura had produced the best season of his career in 2019 up until Monday night's game in Los Angeles. The Ravens rushing attack has dominated within the tackles and Skura, along with Marshal Yanda and Bradley Bozeman, have played a crucial role.

Backup center Patrick Mekari filled in for Skura and the Ravens offense didn't skip a beat. The undrafted lineman out of California logged big minutes against a respected Rams front.

John Harbaugh said there was no drop-off in play after Matt Skura went down and Patrick Mekari went in. Harbs didn't have any update on Skura's injury.

The Ravens have ran out the same five offensive linemen every game this season. With health a concern moving forward, Mekari will have to pick up the pieces for the interior to continue dominating.

Skura will undergo surgery to repair his knee and look to return for the 2020 season.

Just mentioned on @nflnetwork #Ravens C Matt Skura will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury suffered last night, a source said. Losing Skura, who was second in the AFC in Pro Bowl voting, is a rough one for Baltimore. He does a lot up front for their O Line.
